What are the requirements for the production of ultra-high polymer pipe equipment?
Ultra-high polymer pipe equipment is the simplest single-type plastic product, and currently commonly used extruder equipment is used for extrusion production. This is called a rod, mainly because the cross-section of the product is a solid body with a round, square, rectangular, rhombic or triangular shape. There are various resins used in the production of plastic rods extruded by plastic extruders, and the requirements of the materials for the extruder equipment are also different. Generally speaking, the extruder we choose is an ordinary single-screw extruder, and the structure of the screw should be configured according to the extruded material. During the production of three resins: PA1010, PA66, and POM, the plastic extruder screw we choose is an isometric abrupt screw with a compression ratio of 3~4. If extruding ABS, PC, PPO, PSU materials, choose an equidistant gradual screw structure, and control the compression ratio between 3 and 3.5.
Generally, the screw length ratio of the single-screw extruder is in the range of 20~30:1, but when selecting the extruder standard, the screw diameter must be slightly smaller than the diameter (cross-sectional area) of the plastic product.
